Lynn Dean Ford Scholarship - Print Journalism

Lynn Dean Ford was a highly-respected columnist for the Indianapolis Star. The Indianapolis Association of Black Journalists honors Ford’s legacy through this annual $1,000 scholarship for a student pursuing a career in print journalism.

Liz Daly Scholarship - Broadcast Journalism

Liz Daly was a veteran broadcast journalist for WTHR channel 13. The Indianapolis Association of Black Journalists honors Daly’s legacy by awarding a $1,000 scholarship for a student pursuing a career in broadcast journalism.

Wanda Skaggs Scholarship

Wanda Skaggs was a noon news producer for WTHR Channel 13. She was active in several organizations and served as former president of the Indianapolis Association of Black Journalists. The organization honors Skaggs’s legacy with a $1,000 scholarship for a student pursuing a career in communications/public relations.
